Who I am

I am Data Scientist and Developer with over 4 years of experience across analytics and web app development.

Currently, I'm furthering my skills within frontend development (React.js) with a focus on web-based data visualization (d3.js).

Experience

My previous experiences were as Data Scientist in the energy, marketing and retail sectors (where I primarily worked on building data focussed web tools).

Some notable pieces of work/ projects in my previous roles include:

• A proof of concept for a staff scheduling tool for call centre team managers (React, Django REST framework)
• Developed data provision tools for call centre staff (Django web framework, Python)
• Developed data analytics and visualisation tools for marketing insight analysts (Python, Flask web framework) including:
  • - A semantic brand scoring tool (text based) using graph theory (igraph, network libraries)
  • - Radar visualization tool to visualize keyword search volume by category (bokeh library)
• I've also done web scraping (selenium, beautiful soup libraries), extensive data wrangling (pandas) and prototyping new ideas/ solutions to problems.

Skills

I mainly use Python and React in my work. I also use/ have used git, SQL, Figma, AWS (S3, Athena, cloudwatch, glue)
